The candidates having medical and non-medical subjects in their senior secondary education are eligible for that course. The students get the application forms on the official website of the University I.e. hau.preadmission.in. The seats are revered as according to the Haryana reservation criteria

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as I had a great interest in the field of agriculture. My parents have been involved in agriculture for a long time. The expected faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20.The faculty is well qualified. All the faculty members are PhD holders. The final exams are conducted at the end of the semester and are moderately difficult.

Class Size : 125Course Fees : INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The university provides placements in different agro-related industries like the chemical and pesticides industry, seed production plants and some other food processing industries Some of them are Syngenta, Bayer, and gharda.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees increase every year. The cost of the study was about 60k for my graduation. But these days the fees are increased. The students get scholarship assistance also. The top 25% of students from the class gets merit scholarship. And all obc and SC students get matric scholarships.

Campus Life :

The cultural events in the university are organised from time to time. All the books related to the courses are available in the library. classrooms are well furnished. The sports activities are organised from time to time

Hostel Facilities :

All the facilities are provided in the hostel like electricity and water availability. The mess is also very good and nutritious food is provided to the students. The candidates have to fill out the performance for the hostel allotment.

The scope of this course is very high. It gives job opportunities. It is a new course. There is a faculty-to-student ratio in equal amounts. The teaching method of teachers is very good. In one chance I passed this exam. Difficulty level is moderate on this exam.

Resourceful students and less better opportunities

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters, students are eligible for campus placement. HDFC bank visited for the placement. Students with above a 7.5 GPA can apply for such placement as the number of vacancies is less as well. After completing my graduation I want to pursue agribusiness management.

My university my journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for it, because of my keen interest in agriculture as I am from an agricultural family. Apart from this, I see numerous enterprise opportunities particularly associated with horticulture field. Students enrolled in the university are allotted an advisor, and normally for every 8 students, there is an advisor who apart from their studies helps them in their overall development. Most of the faculty members hold PhD degrees in their respective fields while some of them have worked on research projects and have international degrees as well. Talking about the exams, exams are always in accordance with the schedule and are held timely but sometimes they take a bit longer to declare the results, While exams are not that tough and one can easily pass them one needs to be consistent in their studies for better results.
