Universities like PDPU, IIIT-Vadodara, DAIICT, NIRMA, are the best universities in the state. All four have their advantages and few flaws. To compare we must look at every available aspect for better results.

Ranking:

• PDPU University is a member of AIU and is NAAC accredited with an 'A' grade & CGPA of 3.39 out of 4.0. It’s NIRF ranking is 55th and 1st in Gujarat.
• DAIICT is Ranked 111 according to NIRF
• Nirma University is ranked 136 according to NIRF

Admissions:

  PDPU:

• For admission in B.Tech, one must secure 45% marks in Intermediate Examination with a valid score in GUJCET and JEE Main.
• Last year cut off for GUJCET was Round 2 | rank 1489. For JEE Main it changes per year and according to university.
• A total of 180 seats are available per course.
• The course fee is almost 9.50 lakhs.

Nirma University:

• For admission in B.Tech one must secure 45% marks in Intermediate Examination with a valid score in GUJCET and JEE Main.
• Last year cut off for GUJCET was Round 2 | rank 524. For JEE Main it changes per year and according to university.
• A total of 270 seats are available per course.
• The course fee is almost 7.24 lakhs.

IIIT Vadodara:

• For admission in B.Tech, one must secure 75% marks in Intermediate Examination with a valid score in JEE Main.
• Last year cut off for JEE Main was Round 7 | rank 28,524.
• A total of 220 seats are available per course.
• The course fee is almost 6.58 lakhs.

DAIICT:

• For admission in B.Tech, one must secure 50% marks in the Intermediate Examination.
• One must have cracked JEE Mains, for admission.
• A total of 18 seats are available per course.
• The course fee is almost 7.28 lakhs.

Placement:

As these Universities are not very old, so the infrastructure is equivalent to a highly facilitated campus and mesmerizing space. Comparing the four according to these statistics, we can say IIIT-Vadodara may surpass all in a few years, but PDPU and DAIICT are not far behind. NIRMA University having larger diversity among all four is a little behind in technical courses.

NICMAR, RICS, SCMHRD, and XIMB all of these are reputed management institutes in India. NICMAR conducts NCAT and SCMHRAD conducts SNAP to take admission. Whereas, XIMB and RICS select students based on their performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT, etc.

• NICMAR is ranked 1st amongst the top colleges in ASIA.

• RICS, Amity University is one of the six Indian institutes which have made it to QS Asian University Rankings.

• SCMHRD is ranked 4th state wise and city wise in 2020 by the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF).

• XIMB, Xavier University Bhubaneswar has been ranked 10th amongst All India Private B-School by IT-MDRA B-School Ranking 2019.

RICS:

• The institute has more than 100 faculty members and 1000+ students studying on the campus.

• Classrooms with new-age teaching tools, computer labs, a library with 2 lakh+ books, periodicals, references to international and national journals, food courts, and cafeteria are the facilities offered by the institute.

SCMHRD:

• Scholarships are offered only to students of MBA who top the first semester A total of 50% tuition fee waiver is covered by the scholarship.

• The institute has a health center with specialized doctors, a yoga center and gymnasium, hostels, a library with a huge collection of more than 2000 audio and video files, 24000 books, and periodicals.

XIMB UGB:

• Library, residential facility, medical help, sports, fitness facility, and professional audio-video studios are the facilities offered.

NICMAR, RICS, SCMHRD, and XIMB all these colleges are highly reputed and have nailed down their efficiency in terms of education, placements as well as all the factors required for the development of the student’s academics and career.

BIMTECH offers PGDM programs in three disciplines mainly International Business, Retail Management and Insurance Business Management. Taxila Business School offers PGDM in 8 streams.

The average placements can provide a clear view as to which college stands on a favourable position with respect to which stream . Apart from that the facts that can be looked upon in respect of placements are:

Both the management institutes are at par with respect to placement. The difference lies in the choice of domains. BIMTECH is specialised to specific domains while Taxila offers a wide range with a decent package.

A friend of mine recommended me CIT as it is the oldest and a government-aided research institute. CIT was started much earlier than SSN. Needless to say, the institute has much more facilities to offer you as it is the most trusted. 

Here are some basic information about the three institutes:

• If you ask about computer science, SSN and CIT are on the same page. Both the institutes are equally great. If compared on the basis of the CS department, VIT is lagging behind as compared to SSN and CIT. 

• CIT and SSN are more affordable as compared to VIT as it is a deemed University. 

• SSN has the best infrastructure among the three universities. 

• In order to encourage research, SSN offers an amount of twenty-five thousand rupees as part of internally funded projects. You can collaborate with top institutes like Anna University or IIT for projects.

• Though the faculty and quality of teaching at VIT lags behind, it is not the case in CIT and SSN. Both the institutes have a very strong faculty being top institutes.

• If you are planning to study abroad in the near future, SSN should be your ultimate destination. It is known for providing students with facilities to study all around the nation and the world. 

Though the oldest and the most affordable institute among the three is CIT, if your budget allows, you must go for SSN. It is also located in a metropolitan city. You can keep VIT as a backup option due to issues like affordability, comparatively poor faculty, and lack of enough research facilities.
