Which is better, IET-DAVV or PCCOE, Pune?

AS
Ahaana Sharma Posted On : July 14th, 2021
BA Political Science & Economics, St. Aloysius College, Jabalpur (2020)

Having to know people from both the institutes, I can say that they are equally good. But my choice will be inclined towards IET DAVV as it is more popular among students as well as professionals.

Both the institutes have good placement records and stats, especially in the CSE branch. If you’re a resident near Maharashtra then POCCE would be a good option whereas if you’re near Madhya Pradesh then IET- DAVV would be the suitable choice.

  • The numbers of companies visiting both campuses are approximately equal with core companies and other companies included.
  • They mainly get into consultancy providing companies.
  • As a student, it all depends on the amount of effort you put into your study and career and how smartly you put your efforts.
  • It all depends on you the institutes just provide and act as a supporting block helping to shape you and your carrier.
Categories POCCE IET DAVV
Course Fee 5.5 lakh 2.74 lakh
Highest CTC 8 LPA 21 LPA
Average CTC 6 LPA 11 LPA
Recruiting Companies TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, IBM, etc. Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, etc.

IET- DAVV has been recognized and awarded many felicitations. Moreover, IET-DAVV has almost all its courses recognized from AICTE which provides an advantage. Thus it is suggested you opt for IET DAVV over POCCE.

Which is better, Jain University, Presidency University, or MVJ College?

BG
Bidita Ghose Posted On : December 19th, 2023
Lives in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

One of my friends completed his B.Tech from MVJCE Bangalore. According to him, the college management does not function properly. This creates a lot of problems for the students.

But otherwise, MVJCE is good for engineering studies. However, the placement records are quite average.

I studied at Jain University, and won’t personally recommend it. As for Presidency University, I would suggest you consult some seniors from there to get a clear idea.

Which is better, KJ Somaiya Sion (IT) or Shah and Anchor (SAKEC - IT)?

SA
Shikha Agrawal Posted On : January 9th, 2023
Studied at KJ Somaiya Sion.

KJSIEIT's campus is excellent. The faculty is extremely helpful. You must maintain a high level of academic performance throughout your career. Attendance should be kept at around 75%, and if you have a genuine medical condition, it should be at least 65%. There are numerous technical committees, including IET, IEEE, IETE, CSI, and others. There are numerous cultural and sporting events.

In terms of IT in KJSIEIT, it has a separate building that is amazing in comparison to the main building, and from a job perspective, if your skills are good, you can easily get a very good package, but you must be good at coding. More than 45 companies have visited our campus.

Which college is better for a BTech in CSE, Bharati Vidyapeeth Delhi or DIT University Dehradun?

DR
Diksha Roy Posted On : June 30th, 2022
B.Pharm from DIT University, Dehradun

Bharati Vidyapeeth Delhi is better than DIT University for a BTech in CSE. It is under IP university and has better brand recognition. Bharati Vidyapeeth placements are great, especially for CSE. Students usually receive an average CTC of around INR 5 LPA. While the highest package offered to the branch is around INR 12 LPA. Due to the location advantage, the recruiting companies visiting the campus placement is better too.

BA from IGNOU is better. For undergraduate humanities courses in distance learning, it is best. IGNOU has better recognition. It has a wide range of courses on offer. Classes are conducted regularly. You will get the study materials online.

Due to the strict evaluation process, IGNOU degrees are valued more, even in the private sector.

Which is better NIT Hamirpur or IIITM Gwalior for CSE/IT?

AR
Aditi Roy Posted On : September 13th, 2023
lives in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India

One of my friends recently completed his graduation from NIT Hamirpur and another one is still studying at IIITM Gwalior. From the reviews I obtained from both of them, NIT Hamirpur seems to be the better option. Here is why

  • The alumni network is very strong such that even average students get placed thanks to the help of the well-placed alumni.
  • The college is located in a small hilly region surrounded by the serenity of nature that makes your time worth it.
  • The placement scenario is great and even average students with a CGPA of around 5 get placed.
  • The students focus on academics and extracurriculars.
  • There are amazing guest visits and recently
  • HRD MINISTER Smt Smriti Irani visited for a conference.

Overall, the campus life, academics, and placement scenario are much better at NIT Hamirpur than IIITM Gwalior.

Which is better, IMI Delhi BF&S or Great Lakes Chennai PGDM, considering I have no particular inclination towards finance but IMI is the bigger brand?

NC
Nikhil Chaturvedi Posted On : March 16th, 2023
Studied MBA-Rural Management (MBA-RM) at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar

If you have the option of dropping a year and preparing for CAT, XAT, or other entrance exams, it may be worth considering. You can use the extra time to study and improve your scores, which could lead to better opportunities in the future.

However, if you have decided to pursue an MBA this year, there are several factors to consider before choosing between IMI and GLIM. You should look at the return on investment (ROI), fees, faculty, location, and placement records of both institutions to determine which one is a better fit for you.

It is important to note that neither the Business Forensic & Fraud Management (BF&S) program at IMI nor the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program at GLIM are the flagship programs of their respective institutions. You may want to research the other programs offered by each school to see if they align with your career goals.

Personally, I would recommend GLIM over IMI. However, you should make your decision based on your own research and preferences, taking into account factors such as the curriculum, faculty, industry connections, and career prospects. It is important to choose a program that aligns with your career aspirations and provides the best value for your investment in terms of education, skills, and networking opportunities.
