The international hostels at Anna University are one of the best hostel facilities provided by a government university. The facilities here are like no other hostel. The hostels provide:
Air-conditioned rooms
Electrical appliances like a geyser, fridge, and microwave
The hostel also has industrial washing machines with dryers
All these amenities make international hostels in Anna University top notch. The only drawback is that now the administration has started accepting local students into international hostels just because they pay a lot of money.
NICMAR Pune has its own hostel with 1139 single-occupancy rooms for boys and 194 shared occupancy rooms for girls. NICMAR campus is beautiful, and tho the traffic in Pune might irritate you a bit, I am pretty sure you won't be getting enough time to go outside your college. So the campus resides in one of the major IT hubs in Pune i.e. Balewadi Rd. The cost of living is also at the lower end which makes it easier for you to hand out in the vicinity.

No, officially there is no wifi faculty at the hostels of VSSUT Burla. However, there are high-speed LAN connections that can be connected to a personal Wi-Fi router. The speed is pretty high. A few girls' hostels have wifi facilities only in their common rooms.
Hostel and campus life are subjective things that will vary between individuals; there is no metric to comparatively quantify the same. I can give you some idea about the hostel and campus life at MNIT Jaipur and MNNIT Allahabad based on what I heard from my friends at the institutes.
Comparison:
Based on what I heard from my friends at these two institutions, it seems that MNIT Jaipur offers a better hostel and campus life.
The first-year boys are allotted three or four shared rooms in both hostels A and B. The hostel for girls is allotted at LH blocks two and four. Usually, hostel rooms are fixed on the first day of admission based on the admission order.

IIT Mandi has a variety of different types of hostels, each with their own occupancy and room arrangements. Generally, students in IIT Mandi's hostels share rooms with one or more other students. The exact number of students per room can vary depending on the campus you are allotted.
IIT Mandi has 2 campuses namely the North Campus and the South Campus.
When my sister was in IIT Mandi, first what students were allotted were triple occupancy rooms for boys and double occupancy rooms for girls. Now, the situation is expected to have improved, and there might be double or triple for boys and single for girls.
Usually, the south campus has multiple seater rooms while the North campus has single rooms. Additionally, Ph.D. students are allotted single rooms.
NIT Calicut offers decent hostel accommodations. The rooms are double or triple sharing. The institute offers basic amenities such as beds, cupboards, and tables. First Year – You will be accommodated in the professor’s apartment,t which consists of three rooms, one hall, and a kitchen. You need to share your room with at least three people, which may vary based on the number of students.
Second Year – The students will be shifted to MBA hostels, which are much like first-year apartments with an attached bathroom
So, you don’t have a chance to enjoy single-room life at NIT Calicut
Kirori Mal College Hostel is one of the University of Delhi's cheapest and best hostels. As some of my friends stay in the hostels, here’s what I got to know from them about it.
Let me highlight a few of KMC Hostel's strengths:
This privilege, however, is not available to everyone, as there is a hostel cut-off. As a result, if you fit in, the hostel could feel like home.
