The hostel accommodation is pretty great at AIIMS Nagpur. It is equipped with all the basic amenities like beds, fans, lights, etc. The bathrooms and washrooms are well-designed. There is also a playing room.
These hostels have elevators, washing machines, iron rooms, water purifiers, and coolers. There is also a vending machine on the ground floor.
The security of the hostels is pretty good. There are guards on duty 24/7.
There are several factors considered by NIT Raipur before allotting permanent hostels to students. The points below give a brief overview of the conditions and processes of hostel allotment in the institute.
These are some of the general concerns for students coming to NIT Raipur. Hope this helped to clear your doubts.
According to some of my friends who stayed in hostels, it is amazing. A diverse culture is experienced here. You make bonds for a lifetime. From preparing for exams one night before to discussing various miscellaneous topics to roaming in college to going for night outs, all the things are enjoyed by the students thoroughly. Also, the campus is filled with greenery that provides hostellers an edge to feel the freshness of nature.

Currently, VSSUT has 11 Hostels out of which 6 are boys hostels while 5 are girls hostels.
Boys
There are 4 old boys' hostels and 2 new ones. The old ones are West(Kratu), East(Atri), North (Vasistha) and South (Marichi), the condition of which isn’t very good. The rooms are in poor condition and the food served is the same every day. However, it has a well-maintained Central Garden and huge cricket fields. Additionally, you will find a TT room, TV room and Common room in all these four hostels. The North Hostel and South Hostels also have a library. The new hostels are Pulaha and Pulasthya which are designed excellently and have modern facilities.
Girls
VSSUT has 5 girls' hostels namely Anuradha, Arundhati, Visakha, Rohini, and Angira. From what I have heard from my fire dad, the food served is pathetic, even worse than boys' hostels.
Summing up, I would like to say that hostel life, be it anywhere, is about adjusting and creating memories with limited resources.
PEC Chandigarh hostel rooms come equipped with mattresses, tables, chairs, cabinets, and built-in shelves in addition to other necessities. So the things you need to carry with you are listed below:
Panjab University provides excellent hostel facilities to its students with a secure accommodation.
Overall, the infrastructure of the hostels is surreal with lush greenery and open spaces.
SVNIT has one of the best hostels, and I personally liked each one that I stayed in. Boys can opt for a single room from second year onwards.
Fresher boys are allotted Gajjar Bhawan, and it is the best hostel for boys, at SVNIT. 2nd year boys are allotted Tagore Bhawan and Nehru Bhawan. Tagore Bhawan has small and cozy rooms, but the small bathrooms are a drawback. 3rd and final year boys get SV Bhawan which has well ventilated single rooms with an attached balcony. Bhabha is another option for 3rd year boys. The good thing about Bhabha is that you can play endless cricket with friends over there.
The hostel messes are decent. Aamras, ice cream, egg curry, chaas and french fries are some of the good options served in the messes. There is no system of self service, rather the food is given on your plate by the mess staff. Hostel day is the time to eat as much as you want, and dance to your heart’s content. Each hostel has its own mess.
The campus is filled with crows, pigeons and peacocks. The hostels have TT rooms, and hostel sports events are also organized regularly.
The SVNIT hostels have good and safe living conditions. You will enjoy your stay at the institution.
The kind of hostel you are allotted at PGIMS Rohtak depends on the course you opt for. MBBS students are usually allotted 3 hostels depending on the year of their course. Usually, first-year MBBS girls are allotted the Yamuna Hostel which is located near the OPD, while second-year MBBS students are allotted Krishna Hostel which comes under MDU and PGI and lastly, the 3rd year, students are transferred to the Ganga Hostel near the auditorium. Let's look at the hostel facilities of each of these hostels individually
Hope my answer clears all your doubts.
As a fresher at NIT Kurukshetra, you should bring the following items for your hostel stay:
Here is a list of things you can easily get from the NIT Market but if you want you can also bring it from home.
Additionally, you can bring a bed table, your laptop, mouse, keyboard, power bank, and other electronic accessories. I suggest you bring a few snacks and non-perishable food items, as well as some cooking utensils and a small electric kettle, in case you want to make yourself a quick meal. Also, it would be a good idea to bring a few basic cleaning supplies to keep your room clean and tidy.
