Is it true that IIT kanpur's curriculum is harder than other IITs?
My knowledge is limited to the Mechanical branch only as my brother was a student at IIT Kanpur. From what I heard about his experience, the curriculum is moderate, neither too heavy nor too light. He even saw many of his batchmates copying assignments and not doing one on their own throughout the 5 years.
The mid and end-semester exams are usually from the notes. The average of the class is very low with everyone performing poorly. up getting a B in that course. There are some exceptional professors who do tough grading, but that is rare and mostly CPI isn’t affected.
Projects and term papers are supposed to be done as a group and carry a lot of weightage. But they are quite easy as one of the studious members of the group ends up doing all the work.
In IIT Kanpur, one can easily score 7 CPI with average preparation done in 1 week for mid and end semesters while 1 or 2 days for projects/term papers. Hence I wouldn’t say the IIT Kanpur’s curriculum is harder than other IITs.
Why is the fee structure so high in iim ahmedabad?
IIM Ahmedabad charges high fees to maintain its cutting-edge facilities, top-notch infrastructure, high-end research facilities, it offers. They need to charge high to meet these costs. Also, IIMs are autonomous and they don’t receive much funding from the government. The majority of their funding comes from the program fees.

Overall, the highest international and domestic package offered during IIT Roorkee placements 2022-23 placements stood at INR 1.06 crore per annum and INR 1.30 crore per annum, respectively. More than 365 offers were made during the first day itself with the total number of offers standing at 500. The top recruiters included leading companies such as Tata Steel, Uber, and Bajaj Auto.
How is the food at AIIMS Patna hostel?

The food is prepared with utmost care and hygiene. The menu always has a variety of dishes and you won’t find the menu boring or monotonous. It caters to the tastebuds of students from all corners of India. This is how the AIIMS Patna mess looks like

The taste of food is average and bearable though you will miss homemade food from time to time. However, the food here is much better than at other state colleges.
Even non-veg food is served here although there are restrictions on the quantity. Tea and snacks are served in the morning as refreshments.
The canteen also serves tasty food and you can go there for a change. It is managed by Moti Mahal Delux and there is a delivery service too.
All in all, the food in AIIMS Patna is of good quality and better than most top colleges.
How is the infrastructure (hostel rooms and common rooms and mess facilities) at IIEST Shibpur?
IIEST Shibpur offers a good infrastructure to its students. Discussed below are various facilities available at the campus.
Air Conditioning: It is as per the departments to whom they supply air-conditioners. Some possess ACs in classrooms, some in labs while some in offices. This varies with the department. None of these is provided in the first year.
Sports:
- The sports department is pretty good with two good grounds and an athletics department, with people trained in sports science.
- Each hall as well as the hostel has its arrangements for Table Tennis and carrom. In many halls, arrangements exist for badminton and TT. No pool table is provided.
- There are tournaments for football and cricket. And there is the athletics day and various sporting tournaments organized by different halls of residence.
- There are two sports grounds named Lords and Oval which are of excellent quality. Even CAB ( Cricket Association of Bengal ) has expressed their interest in them.
Culture: The student culture is about to change as IIEST will take students from JEE Main or even Advance. Quite some time ago, the school always had a good share of other state students which was considered quite large for a government institute.
Campus: The campus is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in India and there are tons to explore. Seeing everything here needs at least a minimum of 2 years.
Flooding: The place gets regular rainfall due to The Botanical gardens. Yet, flooding is not a problem, usually.

What are placement statistics of MNIT Jaipur?
MNIT Jaipur has been recording an excellent placement record over the past years. In 2022, around 839 students were placed in different companies. The highest CTC was recorded at INR 64 LPA while the m average CTC was recorded at INR 12.43 LPA. More than 250 companies participated in the placement drive.

Which is best in NIT Trichy, ECE or EEE?
Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) are two different branches of engineering. As some of my friends had these courses, I can share some details about them, later analyzing which you can make a decision.
- EEE is concerned with electrical engineering, which encompasses circuits, transformers, electrostatics, magnetics, and other related topics.
- ECE is concerned with the electrical and communication aspects of the subject. Communication is learning a programming language, VLSI, and coding. After CSE, it is the most popular branch among students.
- As a matter of interest, both the ECE and EEE branches are fascinating and demanding.
- Hence, one should choose either of the two based on his or her own personal interests.
- If you don't have a particular interest and want to choose based on placement opportunities, then ECE is recommended.
- It has a scope that is even greater than CSE.
Because CSE is currently at its pinnacle and will almost certainly reach saturation in the next 4 to 5 years. So, at this time, it would be wiser to choose ECE. regardless of the college, whether it is NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, or any other NITs or IITs in India.
How difficult is the post-NMAT process at NMIMS Mumbai?
Here are the steps that you need to follow after receiving your NMAT score.
- Register and apply for the CD/PI process online. You will have to submit an SOP along with your application. You also need to pay a small fee.
- You will receive the date on which the CD/PI is organized at the Mumbai campus, shortly after your application is done.
- Students are divided into small groups for the CD. The topic of CD varies depending on the group. CD usually takes around one hour.
- After the CD is done you will have to wait for the PI round. The PI round usually takes 20-30 mins. In the PI, they usually ask questions like why MBA, why NMIMS, your achievements, etc.
- The results are declared within 20 days. You will get to know your final rank and whether or not you got selected.
Are the students of NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Surathkal, and IIIT Hyderabad as good as an IITian/BITSian?

- Private colleges may provide the least opportunities, which can make it difficult for students to showcase their skills and stand out in a crowded job market. This can also limit their exposure to industry trends and developments, which may hinder their growth as professionals.
However, it is important to note that the opportunities provided by an institute do not necessarily reflect the quality of education or the potential of the students. Here are some examples to illustrate this point:
- Two engineers, one from an IIT and another from an NIT discover a new gadget that is not very effective. In this case, the IITian may have a better chance of presenting their idea to the public and gaining recognition, but it does not necessarily mean that they are a better student than the NITian. Both students may have equal potential and skills, but the opportunities provided by their respective institutes may differ.
- Similarly, in private colleges, only a few students may get noticed because of limited opportunities, but this does not mean that the rest of the students are not capable or talented. It is possible that the other students have excellent skills and potential, but they did not get a chance to showcase their abilities due to a lack of opportunities.
