In case of the brand name, BITS Goa is somewhat equivalent to both NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal. But, in terms of placements, BITS Goa is multiple steps ahead of NIT Trichy. Following it comes NIT Warangal. Here is the detailed breakdown of each aspect,

1. The placements students secure at BITS Goa are in the same range as the old IITs. The range of placements is not as much as is found in both BITS and old IITs, except IITH.
2. The average CSE package of BITS Goa was found to be INR 26 LPA for a first semester student, while it was INR 22.3 LPA for a second semester student. When comparing these statistics to NIT Trichy, it was INR 18 LPA, while the average amount stood at around INR 16.5 LPA at NIT Warangal, for the CSE department.
