Be it any branch, I would always choose IIT Bhubaneswar over 2nd generation IITs such as IIT Gandhinagar and IIT Indore. Let’s discuss the worth of IIT Bhubaneswar in terms of common aspects like
IIT Bhubaneswar is an excellent place to create memories and enjoy a rich college experience.
Kakatiya University isn’t a great option for EEE. The faculty-student ratio isn’t satisfactory. The departmental labs are average. You won’t receive decent placement and industry exposure. Although KU has taken some initiatives to make the placements better, there haven’t been any remarkable changes. Only mass recruiters such as TCS visit Kakatiya University placements to recruit EEE students.
Yes, with this percentile you will be able to get EEE or ECE at MAIT. You should be really interested in building your career in EEE or ECE as both of them are very different from each other and you will get to explore different career opportunities in both these fields. You should do in-depth research about both these branches and then make a final decision.
Hence, you will be able to get a seat in EEE or ECE at MAIT, but need to wait till the last round of counseling, as there are no reserved seats or quota available for these branches.
The best options among these are BITS Pilani EnI and BITS Hyderabad EC. BITS is a well-recognized name in the industry. It will be easier to leverage the brand value to secure good internships, projects, and placement opportunities.
According to recent highlights of BITS Pilani placements students of EnI receive an average CTC of around INR 20 LPA. The median CTC for EC at BITS Hyderabad is around INR 19 LPA.
Choosing BITS campuses will certainly give you a competitive edge in the industry.
IIT Dharwad is a relatively newly established institute and the first batch of engineering graduates in 2020 only, it is yet to be ranked by NIRF. While NITK Surathkal is one of the oldest NITs of the country and is ranked 33rd by NIRF for Engineering.

NIT Surathkal or NITK is one of the premier engineering institutes of the country and has a strong alumni network and industry connect. Training sessions are even organised by industry giants like IBM, CoCubes. IIT Dharwad being a new institute needs time and resources to make its mark. Apart from this, computer science is the most sought after skill-set at present and attracts lucrative offers. Hence, students should make an informed choice according to their discretion.
Both EE at IGIT and IT at VSSUT have the same admission process through JEE mains followed by counseling and interview. IGIT has more seats for EE than for IT in VSSUT so maybe getting admissions in IGIT will be easy in comparison to VSSUT. The placement rate is also good for both universities.
