Though the choice ultimately depends upon you, out of personal experience, I can assure you that pursuing B.Tech ECE from IIT Bhubaneswar is a good choice. You’ll get a peaceful campus environment and qualified faculty at IIT Bhubaneswar. Otherwise, in terms of placements, both the colleges perform equally well.
Well, in such a case where you get blocked and don’t understand what to choose then you should discuss it with your parents and seniors in the particular field. They will help you to sort out which field you should choose and what benefits you will get by choosing that.
But as far as I know, there are always some things common like you do programming on microcontrollers and use Raspberry pi if you are in ECE. But there is a limit to coding in ECE.
If you see in CSE and IT both the fields are core coding branches. If you are passionate about computer science I would suggest IT is the field you should opt for. At the same time, NIT Allahabad is a good college and it does have its reputation.
So, this was all the data I can assist you with but my personal suggestion to you would be to take a long-term decision. Both ECE and Computer Science are good courses but you should identify which one you are passionate about and how are its prospects in the future. Only then you will be clear to choose the best for you.
Yes, Sambalpur University is a great option for PG. It offers good academics and the research culture of the institute is pretty active. The faculties are dedicated and well-experienced. The University library has a huge collection of books and journals.
Sambalpur University campus is located in a less populated area away from the traffic and pollution. The environment on campus is ideal for studies.
One of my close friends chose to go for Nirma Institute because of a rank like that, whether you'd want to believe it or not, but your rank and marks are not satisfactory.
If you'd wanted to get into the CSE program, then I must motivate you to strive better by saying that for CSE you need better scores. No IIT or NIT will grant you admission in the stream with 35038 ranks.
Although, you may still have a chance at NIT Srinagar for Chemical, Civil; NIT Silchar for Instrumentation Engineering; NIT Rourkela for Ceramics; and NIT Agartala for Chemical, Civil, Production engineering. These colleges have a good national reputation.
I'd suggest that you keep other options open like keep checking official websites of universities like Sharda University, Lovely Professional University, Nirma Institute etc.
You might get better opportunities here because they are much more advanced with state-of-the-art facilities. They do not have the reputation of an IIT but they have live projects, spectacular infrastructure, multidisciplinary programs and offer good exposure to students through association with academic delegates from India and abroad.
Yes, Tripura University is a central university. It is a Govt. public university in Tripura. The university was converted to a central university on 2nd July 2007. The university used to be a wing of Calcutta University. TU is known for providing quality education and innovative research in the technical field. The university offers UG, PG, and diploma courses under Science, Arts, and Commerce faculty.
One of my friends graduated from Kongu Engineering College and according to him, the hostel food is good. Comparatively, that is the best food you can get among colleges.
Most people like non-veg food at the cafeteria. According to my friend, the cafeteria food is not worth the money. You can find outside vendors for food. That is better. There are some really good shops for chit-chats.
For a civil engineer fresher, Structural Engineering from IIT Madras is the best option.
The foremost and unfortunate thing that you being a day scholar of IIEST should know is that you are missing a lot on the most important part of college life.
And if you have planned to be a day scholar throughout college life, then you surely are going to regret this because hostel life is the most beautiful part of your engineering journey.
My best friend is currently a hosteller at IIEST Shibpur and according to him the biggest secret to real college life at IIEST begins at the end of your hectic lectures and labs. But if you are a day scholar, you’ll already be on your bus journey to your home and that’s it.
There are millions of ways for you to build your 4 or 5 years engineering career in the most enjoyable way but if you are a hosteller, then you can architect the life you are building according to your wish.
My friend and his peers believe the most enjoyable and incomparable part of college is spent within the boundaries of the college itself. And these are the boundaries within which there is no boundary to your fun and craziness which you won’t get to experience ever after.
Also, there are a lot of clubs in IIEST SHIBPUR like Litsoc, Robotics, CodeIIEST, etc. and the sessions for all the clubs are scheduled after classes i.e. after 5 pm. In case you want to indulge yourself in any of the club's activities seriously, you are supposed to attend the meetings and sessions which is not really impossible for day scholars but may seem a problematic task if your home is far from college.
Regarding the buses from B.garden, you will come to know the details in 2 days only because it’s easy to find the way home back.
All in all, don’t miss any chance of fun because this time will not come again.
Most B-schools have accreditation from NBA so if you are planning to do a PGDM from them, it would be equivalent to an MBA. Additionally, they also have good NIRF ranking. Many of them also invite industry speakers since they are known to have good connectivity in all courses.
As far as other B-schools are concerned, many of them probably do not offer this unique opportunity of a mentorship program. They will not focus on individual development plans for the students. If you are looking for a similar provision, you should consider going to Jaipuria Institute.
From NDLS, you can take express trains to Jamshedpur (Tatanagar), including the Rajdhani Express, the Purshottam Express, and the Nelalchal Express.
Jamshedpur's closest airport is in Ranchi, although you can also get there via train. From Delhi, you can fly to Ranchi, where the bus ride to JSR will just take two hours and cost a fraction of the price. Simply stating, "I want to go to XLRI JSR," at a bus or train station will get you there.
