Which is better, ECE at IIT Bhubaneswar or IIT Dhanbad?

According to the 2019 NIRF Rankings, ISM Dhanbad is ranked 15th whereas, IIT Bhubaneswar has been ranked 17th among the engineering colleges in India.

The closing rank of IIT Bhubaneswar for ECE was 3456 - 5690 while for ISM Dhanbad the closing rank for ECE was 4464-7853. It is observed that the students prefer IIT Bhubaneswar over ISM Dhanbad for ECE.

Regarding the placements, the first batch of IIT Bhubaneswar ECE graduates this year so there is no previous placement record yet. The average package for other departments of IIT Bhubaneswar was around 11 LPA.
