Are you allowed to take your laptop to class for a BE in CSE at LNCT Bhopal?
It doesn’t matter in which branch of engineering you are in, every branch has some theory sessions and practical sessions. It is important to take the help of technology to implement theoretical concepts practically.
You can definitely carry a laptop in the class but you might not be allowed to use it during lectures. Which is better, Symbiosis Noida or Christ Bangalore?
Symbiosis Noida is better than Christ University Bangalore. The institute has great faculty and placements. Symbiosis Noida placements have an average CTC of INR 6-7 LPA. Reputed companies like Microsoft, EY, Google, Times Now, and consulting firms hire students from the institute. Students start to get PPOs in 4th and 5th years.
Which one should I take: Thapar University ECE or NIT Srinagar/Hamirpur/Northeastern NITS civil/chemical or BITS Goa/Hyderabad dual degree?
Having known some people studying in these colleges, I can say that all these three colleges are reputed institutes to pursue engineering courses. They have a very good academic environment and provide the necessary facilities.
You mentioned three branches, ECE, Civil, and Chemical. That means you don't have a specific interest. So, in that case, you should choose BITS over the other two colleges and here are the reasons as to why.
- As you don't have any specific interests, It is suggested you go for BITS for a dual degree. You will get one more year to build your interest.
- All the NITs you have mentioned, that are Srinagar, Hamirpur, and the northeastern NITs have lower rankings than BITS.
- The infrastructure and the facilities provided are much better at BITS.
- Thapar University was also a very popular university but now it is gradually losing its name.
- Among the private engineering institutes, BITS has always been the best. It has been the first choice of the students due to its placement records.

Should I prefer MAIT or VIT Vellore for an IT branch?
I am a student of B.Tech IT at VIT Vellore. According to me, VIT Vellore is a better option for IT as compared to MAIT because of the following reasons-
VIT Vellore offers top class infrastructure and opportunities for its students. The campus is visited by top recruiting companies each year because of which IT placements are quite good for VIT. These companies offer good packages to students during placements. The college offers ample exposure to IT students in the form of internship offers, training offers, and student exchange programs. The IT companies that visit VIT Vellore for placements are- TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant, among others.
Thus, I would recommend you join VIT Vellore for B.Tech IT instead of MAIT.

I am currently studying at Lovely Professional University. LPU is a good choice in terms of education, infrastructure, placement, and ranking.
- Ranking: As per the NIRF 2023 University Ranking, LPU stands at 38th position. In the overall Ranking 2023 by NIRF, LPU stands at 46th position.
- Placement: The LPU students get job and internship opportunities from top companies like Microsoft, Cognizant, Oracle, Samsung, IBM, HP, etc. The highest package offered to B.Tech students during the 2024 placements at LPU was INR 50 LPA (Offered by Phone Pe).
