IIT BHU is one of the prestigious IITs of India and is 100 years old. The Mechanical Department of IIT BHU has good faculties and excellent lab facilities. JU is also a good college with some of the good faculties and infrastructure. It is considered one of the best colleges in West Bengal after IITKGP. One of the perks of joining JU is that fee is only 10k per semester which is quite cheap when compared to IIT BHU. Placements are very good and on par with other colleges and students get placed in top companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, Samsung, Goldmann Sachs, etc. Students were offered an average package of 12 LPA CTC while the highest being offered was 39 LPA CTC by Adobe.

I would never recommend you to go for any core branch at new IITs. With the new IIT tag, ISM Dhanbad is a far better option as it was established in 1926 and enjoys global recognition in contrast to IIT Hyderabad, which is still under development. Both the colleges are poles apart in terms of infrastructure, facilities, etc.

Core companies generally visiting for the CSE branch also offer placements for ECE branch students. This opens the option of additional companies for ECE students along with the core ECE companies.
As far as placement is considered, both ECE and CSE branches get offers from the same core companies. So, it is up to the students to choose either of the institutes depending upon the field in which they wish to specialize.

If you are planning for an M.Tech in near future, choose IIITB. The iMtech will allow you to complete two degrees in five years, and you won’t be stressed over GATE exams. IIIT Bangalore offers the best placements. This is because Bangalore is the center of major IT and Electronics brands.
I chose iMtech at IIIT Bangalore because of these reasons. You must choose the option that best suits your personal preferences. All the three institutions are well renowned.
VIT Vellore CSE will be better than IIT Tirupati CSE. It follows an industry-relevant curriculum which is updated regularly. The specializations offered for CSE are as per the latest industry trends and demand. VIT Vellore placements are excellent for CSE. Each year around 99% of students get placed from the branch. The average CTC for the branch is around INR 6-7 LPA. Reputed companies such as Microsoft, Google, etc. recruit from the institute.
