One of my friends was in a similar situation a few years back. After taking to the faculties of LBS, he decided to join the IIM Ahmedabad PGD course. Here are the reasons why.
- Masters in Management is a new course and doesn’t have much industry recognition. So, there aren’t many placement opportunities.
- Be it academics or placements, MiM students stay in the shadow of MBA students. It is not a good option if you have an ambitious career plan.
- MiM at LBS costs a lot and there aren’t many scholarship options available. Many MiM students choose to do an MBA later, which just doubles the cost.
- US has a vis permit issue for the non-Europeans, which makes it difficult to secure a job after graduation. Many students come back to India after completing their degrees.
When it comes to management education, IIM A is the best there is. Even a diploma for IIM A will have more value in India compared to a MiM from LBS.
Which college should I choose for BBA among IITM Janakpuri and IMS Noida?
For a BBA course, the college you choose would not matter a lot unless it offers decent on-campus placement opportunities. My cousin has pursued a course in BBA and as per his experience, he considers it to be a highly professional course. If you perform well throughout the course then you can for sure get recruited at a reputable firm after completion.
You have to put in the required efforts by yourself. If you are considering doing an MBA then good performance during your BBA will be helpful in the future.
Now coming to the colleges that you have mentioned in your question, I would recommend that you opt for a BBA program at IMS, Noida. I have a few friends from the institute and according to them, the BBA course is quite great. In the 2020 placements, the highest CTC offered by the institute was 12 LPA.
You can search about several other colleges that are situated in New Delhi or the NCR region. You can take a look at IP University, IMS Ghaziabad, and more such institutes to make sure that you go for the college that would prove to beneficial for your career.

Usually, the students at BITS opt for a dual degree program along with a Master’s in Economics, which will give them more opportunities. The bank companies are looking forward to the students from the economics branch who possess skills, and they mostly visit BITS Pilani. The offer package ranges from 11-14 lakhs per annum. There is no specific procedure to track the JNTUH OD application status. The only thing you can do is place your OD request with the right address for delivery and wait for at least 4 weeks. - Campus : The white building is beautiful and charming. You will be in awe of the beauty of the campus. It's safe to say that KGMU is the most beautiful medical college.
- Lecture theatres : The lecture halls are fully air-conditioned and you grow attached to them. The favorable learning experience is also why the students have a good attendance record.
- Hostels : Boys are allotted double occupancy rooms in the NCV hall during 1st year while girls are allotted triple occupancy rooms in the VL hall. The mess food is average like any other college.
- College life : There are a lot of restrictions during the initial months and you might feel disappointed. But after a few months, things get better and you are given freedom considerably. They are made to attend various conferences held in KGMU. The campus life is made more vibrant by events like Sports Week. There is a huge SP Ground for cricket, basketball, football, Holi Celebration, etc
