Thus, PEC is a better option than NIT Silchar.
The selection of the institute can be done based on your interest in the core subject. ECE and CSE are entirely different, and you will be able to crack good scores only if you have an interest in the subject
If you are into ECE, NIT Warangal is the best institute, as they provide good academic support and quality education. All the NITs have the same placement package in the CSE department. So, you will have ample opportunities at NIT Nagpur, which is one of the leading NITs in India.
Both GEC Thrissur and CUSAT are good institutions and have their own strengths and weaknesses.
CUSAT is an autonomous university spread across 180 acres. The vast campus and multiple streams within it will allow you to network with people from different educational backgrounds. Also, you will get to attend national level fests and events over there. It has better sports facilities than most Engineering colleges in Kerala. It is in Kalamassery which is near Ernakulam and Kochi, so you will get to enjoy the city life as well. There are non-Keralite students as well at CUSAT. However, the Engineering fees over there is much higher than GEC, Thrissur. Also, it has a tough syllabus for Engineering.
GEC Thrissur’s campus is spread across 75 acres. It has a strong alumni network and it is under the direct control of Kerala Government. You will get ample freedom at GEC. Various cultural events and other activities keep happening within the campus. Its syllabus is easier and its fees are way lower than CUSAT.
Both of these have student groups, organizations and communities like IEEE, TinkerHub, ISTE, SAE, NSS, etc. that will offer you participation in extracurricular activities.
Both the institutions have their own perks. To know more about each, I would suggest you talk to their alumni.
KJ Somaiya is definitely a better option of the two. My cousin is a KJ Somaiya alumni and he claims the college to be one of the best in the country
Judging from these points one can easily say that KJ Somaiya is a better option than IMT Ghaziabad. Also if you have an excellent resume and a strong profile you can also go for IIMs or other top B Schools.
MNIT Allahabad and IIT BHU are well-reputed institutes in India. CSE is the best option for broad career opportunities, and you can interact with big companies during the placement. If you are interested in the CSE field, then manage to have a good CGPA score, which will give you easy access to the big companies, and MNIT Allahabad is the best for placement support. IIT BHU is one of the top 10 IITs in India, and many companies have easier access to this institution than MNIT Allahabad. But apart from this, MNIT Allahabad is a better option for you because of its good academics and resourceful campus life. So go with the option MNIT Allahabad
krunalI don’t think judging a college solely on the basis of placements is justified. Yet I have tabulated the placement statistics below to give an overall comparison.

Other factors you can consider to decide which is better are
Location: Location-wise K J Somaya has an upper hand as it is in Mumbai, the financial hub of India. TAPMI is situated in Manipal, The student hub.
Campus: TAPMI has a much better and more beautiful campus and infrastructure than KJ Somaiya.
Accreditation: TAPMI has an upper hand as it has coveted AACSB accreditation and is among the first institutes in India to get so.
So make a choice not just on the basis of placements but also consider other important factors.
Here is some information on both the options to help you in your decision making-
At IITs, you’ll have to go through your 11th and 12th syllabus once again. Moreover, their environment is highly competitive and studious. But the biggest advantage of IIT Indore is the much desire IIT tag.
But in terms of the facilities, VIT Bhopal is at par with IIT Indore. IIT Indore is a new IIT, so it’ll take some time to reach the level of top engineering colleges. The faculty at IIT Bhopal is good and experienced.
IIT Bhopal is a government college. This makes it more desirable than VIT Bhopal. But VIT Bhopal is not a bad choice either, you can write the VITEE and opt for a B.Tech at this institution.
