B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Graphic Era University, Dehradun

Graphic Era University is better for a B.Com. It offers better career outcomes. Companies such as SAGE Publications, Cognizant, IndiaMart, etc. visit the campus drive to recruit students. According to the recent highlights of Graphic Era placements, the average CTC for B.Com students is around INR 3.5-4 LPA.

GEU also gives students the opportunity to explore and learn new things outside of traditional academics.

Doon University and Graphic Era University, both are equally good for pursuing B.com. But before jumping to any conclusion there are some points you must consider before getting admission to any institute.

  1. You cannot expect good placement after doing B.Com, as it does not have much scope.
  2. Go for professional courses such as BCA, BBA, or any other professional course which has more scope.
  3. If you want to pursue B.Com for knowledge then it is advisable to pursue it from DAV or Delhi University. After completing your bachelor’s you can enroll in private universities for an MBA course or any other professional course.
  4. If you are keen to pursue B.Com then it will be better for you to complete it from UNISON Dehradun. It is known for its management courses.

In the table below you will get the placement records of Doon University and Graphic Era University.

Category Doon University Graphic Era University
Recruiters Amazon, Infosys, SAGE, LBF, etc. Adobe, Amazon, IBM, Wipro, etc.
Average CTC INR 3 LPA INR 5.38 LPA
Highest CTC INR 8 LPA INR 43.95 LPA

Therefore, Doon University or Graphic Era University will not be an ideal choice to pursue B.Com. Instead, you can take professional courses or go to recognised management colleges of Dehradun.
