BIT Mesra has Alumni in all the Top Universities around the globe
BIT Mesra also has International campuses in Ras al khaimah and Bahrain
It has the first rocketry department in India and has helped IITs to set up their rocketry department
It also has a Super-Computer called PARAM 10000.
BIT Mesra offers placements that are at par with the IITs
Top recruiters include Facebook, Google, and Microsoft
The grading system at BIT Mesra is absolute and the evaluation process is also very strict. So you will have to focus a lot on your CGPA.
This comparison is general. I think you should make a choice based on your own preferences. Consider factors like closeness to your home, Coaching/guidance for GRE, and alumni network.
I think you should prepare for better. This option is however demanding but reliable. It requires you to give up a year, work extremely hard (because better B-schools are better for a reason), and persevere even in the face of uncertainty.
I would recommend that you first reflect on why you want to pursue an MBA. Most people pursue an MBA to get a better job.
Those who make it to the best B-Schools, go a step further:
Talk to people who have graduated from your desired institute before taking a gap year. Determine for yourself whether those schools are a good fit for you. Weigh all these points, their benefits and drawbacks, and you'll discover that the decision you eventually make will be based on facts, logic, and, to some extent, intuition, rather than silliness.
Since one of my sisters is a part of LNCT Bhopal, it is best to limit the answer to discussing it. As per what she mentions, LNCT Bhopal is a promising institute when it comes down to departments like CSE, IT, or ECE.
Here is a brief insight about the placement session conducted at LNCT Bhopal, as per the latest records:
Institute | LNCT, Bhopal |
Placement Percentage | 83% |
Highest Salary Package | INR 27 LPA (2020) |
Average Salary Package | INR 5.3 LPA |
Top Recruiting Companies | VMware, Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini |
It provides very disciplined conduct of college life. However, it is best that you compare the prospects of both institutes and make an informed decision afterward.
According to my friends at LNCT, it is one of Central India's best private institutes. World-class facilities, excellent infrastructure, well-equipped high-tech laboratories, enriched libraries, and a student-friendly campus with Wi-Fi all contribute significantly to students' overall holistic development.

I know a few students at IIIT Guwahati and therefore, I would try to answer your question.
IIIT Guwahati is the highest-ranked IIIT among all the other IIITs by NIRF 2020. This is a huge achievement because it was established in 2013 under the Public-Private Partnership by the Government of India. It is growing rapidly.
The CSE program at IIIT Guwahati is very well-developed meeting the standards of an IIT. The institute provides a good research facility. Also, in the first year, the course is the same for CSE and ECE.
Here is a brief overview of the CSE program offered by these three institutes.

At IIIT Guwahati, the B.Tech CSE program first starts with computing-oriented courses and later allows the possibility of doing science courses. The institute will definitely quench your thirst for computer science.
I don’t think it’s wrong to recommend colleges to someone solely based on affiliation. It’s better to evaluate colleges based on performance and placements. Colleges with JNTU affiliation like KMIT offered packages around INR 30 LPA and performed better than most of other colleges.
Deccan is affiliated with OU but it’s wrong to suggest students choose Deccan over KMIT only because it’s affiliated with OU. Consider criteria like placements, faculty, facilities, etc., and make a sound decision after taking advice from your seniors.
Overall, it’s better to prioritize autonomous colleges, over colleges like OU and e.
You should choose IIFT. Here are the reasons why.
Due to these factors, IIFT is better than IIM Shillong.
I feel LMNIIT CSE is a much better choice than NIT Agartala CSE provided that you have the financial means to get admission there. Here is why I feel it's better than NIT Agartala
So, is better to look beyond the NIT tag and choose LMNIIT because the tag does not matter much more than academics and placements.
All the institutes you mentioned are quite different from each other and have no similar goals, visions, or outcomes. XIMB is a General Management institute while MICA and IRMA focus solely on a specific domain.
The most common evaluating criteria of aspirants for a B School are its ROI and Placements. Choosing a specific niche program might limit your opportunities and choosing it mainly because of its general parameters like ROI and Parameters might prove wrong in the long run.
IRMA is well known for its specialization in rural management, and its primary goal is to bring about a change in the rural sector of the country through professional management. As a student, you will acquire knowledge of the principles of general management, and certain social and liberal arts subjects.
The main highlight of the institute is its three internship segments. Through this program, you will get to witness rural realities and society through a different lens, and pave your way to an excellent career.
It is no longer the case that the "IIM" brand carries the same weight for all business schools. Each individual Indian Institute of Management (IIM) now has its own distinct brand value and perception, and the word after the "IIM" tag is what will truly matter. For example, IIM Ahmedabad will have a different brand value from IIM Lucknow, which will be different from IIM Kozhikode or IIM Shillong, and so on. With the expansion of the IIM network, with a goal of having an IIM in every state, it may become less meaningful to be accepted into an IIM in general.
Generally speaking, older business schools tend to have more and better opportunities than IIFT due to their larger alumni networks and longer histories of the establishment. Additionally, business schools located in metropolitan areas may have better accessibility for recruiters, leading to more favorable placements for students.
