What should I do if RGPV is not sending my degree certificate?

Mf
Michael fu Posted On : October 21st, 2022
BCA from Indira Gandhi National Open University(IGNOU) (Graduated 2022)

Getting your RGPV degree certificate is as difficult as getting any certificate from a Government Office without Corruption.

There are two ways you can try to get your degree:

  1. Apply online using RGPV portal: For this method, you need to first login using your enrolment number and password. This has to be the same you have been using for 4 years. Select the ‘Apply for Degree’ option. Pay INR 250 ( you will have to pay extra if your annual subscription has expired). Now you will have to wait for almost a year after which your degree will be finally delivered to your doorstep.

  2. The next and more quick way is to personally visit the RGPV campus. Go to the central building and ask for information regarding the degree. After a few formalities and hours of patience, you will finally get your degree.

If you want RGPV degree urgently, you will have to visit the campus. But if you are in no rush then consider it delivered after a year.

AJ
Adinath Jain Posted On : July 31st, 2023
Studied at IIIT Hyderabad

Whether doing MS by Research in ECE at IIIT Hyderabad is worth it or not depends on what you are expecting from it. Consider the following situation

  • If your goal is to secure a good package, though MS, M.tech will serve you well.
  • If you are a research enthusiast and want to pursue the same, the primary step is to identify the research area and choose the institute that specializes in that area.
  • If you are planning to do a Ph.D., then go for an institute that will support your research area in MS and Ph.D. It’s better than changing colleges.
  • If you want to gain some work experience before going for your Ph.D., then M.Tech is a better option because you can start working right after 2 years and won’t have to wait for 4 years as in the case of MS.

Overall, IIIT Hyderabad certainly has a great research culture so it’s a good option if there are good professors in the area of research you are willing to do.

B.tech from National Institute of Technology Silchar (2020)

There are no ‘best’ branches as the primary purpose of diverse branches is to cater to diverse interests. One branch may be good for you but not for someone else and vice versa.

Faculty-wise, the Civil Engineering department is the best followed by Mechanical. ECE and EE also have good faculty strength.

On the basis of coding culture, CSE has the most talented students.

The course-wise NIT Silchar Placements 2022 statistics have been tabulated below:

What is the environment like for doing an MBBS in NEIGRIHMS, in Shillong? How's the study environment? Is it worth it to study there?

AB
Akriti Banerjee Posted On : September 30th, 2023
lives in New Delhi

NEIGRIHMS is a central institute. It is the cleanest medical college in India. It has a good infrastructure which includes a cancer hospital and a state-of-the-art sports ground. The college auditorium is really impressive, and it has state-of-the-art lecture halls.

NEIGRIHMS offers all the basic amenities to its MBBS students. You’ll get more lectures and clinical postings than most state colleges. The patient load is high and they come with a variety of ailments. So you’ll get good clinical exposure. The faculty is friendly and dedicated. You can easily approach the teachers and residents for doubt-solving.

The mess food isn’t good. Also, the hostels near RMO aren’t in very good condition. These are two main drawbacks of the institute.

Overall, NEIGRIHMS is a good college for pursuing your MBBS.
