NSB Academy organized a one-day National Seminar on the theme "National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and Business Education: Contributions to the Stakeholders" in collaboration with AIMS(Association of Indian Management School).

  1. Industry Academia Meet

NSB Academy in association with NHRD, Bangalore chapter organized an ‘Industry-Academia Meet’ cum one-day Seminar on “Emerging issues in HR” on 3rd June 2022 at NSB campus. The event also marked the inauguration of its NSB-NHRD Cell.

On this occasion, the event saw a conglomeration of many luminaries from Industries and academics. Veteran corporate professional Prof. DR Nagaraj who has over 35 years of experience in various industries and is currently a Member of BoG at NSB, President and CEO of NMS HR Solutions and former President of the NHRD Bangalore chapter inaugurated the cell. Along with Prof. Nagaraj other speakers including Mr. R Karthik from Swiss Learning Exchange, Dr. Nandeesh from IBA, Bangalore & EC Member at NHRD Bangalore chapter and Dr. Savitha from WeSchool, Bangalore & Joint Secretary, NHRD Bangalore chapter also attended the program and assured for continual support from NHRD Bangalore chapter to the institute NHRD cell activities.

The meeting was presided by Director Dr. P Ganesan and mentored by President of NSB Academy Dr. SR Sridharamurthy. The event was coordinated by the academics department with the active support of the HR Domain team. All MBA students from the institute attended the program.

  1. International Management Festival

We are delighted to share that our NSB students achievement in the recent International Management Festival CRANIUM 2022, held at CMS B-School Jain (Deemed-to-be-University), Bangalore on May 13 & 14, 2022.

A batch of 17 MBA students from our NSB have participated in the fest conducted by Jain University. Of which 6 students have won awards & prizes in different management vertices. Two of them have made their way to participate in the grand finale of International Management Fest CRANIUM 2022 to be held in Vietnam. The list of winners are:

  1. International Seminars

In continuance to international seminars series for the subject ‘International HRM’ NSB Academy organized an international talk on "challenges of expatriates and effect of multiculturalism and varied HR practices corporate adopt" on 24th June, 2022 for our students of MBA 4th semester 2020-2022 Batch.

The subject expert Prof.(Dr) Debasish Panda, Assistant Research Professor, National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan delivered a talk for all HR specialization students. He highlighted various unique cultural practices along with the challenges he faced while shifting from India to Taiwan. Various Government support for research works was also highlighted.

NSB Academy has framed a policy for conducting such programs for each subject to give its students a first-hand experience with corporate practices.

  1. Blood donation Camp

“The most precious gift that one can give to another person is the gift of life, that is, blood. It is the essence of life.” NSB Academy CSR Club 'Sahaay' organized a blood donation campaign in association with Narayana Hrudayalaya-NH at its campus on 29th April 2022. Students, faculty and staff came out in large numbers to donate life-giving blood & to raise greater awareness about the importance of the life-saving gift of blood donation. We thank each and everyone for their contribution for a noble cause
