What keeps you connected with the Education Sector?

“Devotion to influence others life through education”

My passion & love for teaching is the bond which keeps me connected with the education sector. Also, the constant self-upgradation required on a regular basis also keeps me connected with the education sector. My institute motivates me to focus on overall development of students also during the pandemic by helping in preparation of videos for students on various subject topics which are difficult to understand for students.

What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students as an HOD?

“To bring best business value to college making the students industry ready”

My accountability is to give the latest industry related updates and inputs to the students by conducting expert lecture series delivered by prominent personalities from industry. Identifying the talent and nurturing it (2nd and 3rd Year level), Motivating students, sponsoring them for Extracurricular participation. Ensuring and making them available to the reputed Companies for Internships by providing them Industrial linkages.

What extracurricular activities are conducted to enhance a student's skills?

“We organize various academic and cultural events on national- ecumenical level”

We organize an annual International conference, a series of expert lectures from eminent personalities also from our successful alumni. We also conduct various sports activities, cultural fests and events to promote holistic development among students, regular Group Discussions on latest & trending topics which gives a platform to students to explore their inner self.

How does the curriculum ensure future preparedness of students?

“Curriculum is prepared after taking industry-experts and ex-students suggestions”

We organize search conferences where renowned industrialists and our alumni who are working in reputed companies helped us to identify the gaps between the syllabus and industry. The students are motivated to choose industry-oriented projects for their final year thesis submission. Company sponsored laboratories are being introduced in the curriculum.

How do you introduce practical and industry oriented approaches towards subjects?

“By assigning real-world projects to students and updating curriculum with latest industry needs”

We always encourage our students to find solutions to real life problems. We involve micro and mini projects on the latest trends. We also encourage them to submit case studies in each subject. We try to correlate the latest technologies being used in the industry with the details of topics given in the syllabus.

What approaches do you bring in apart from curriculum to teach the students?

“Industry experts and professionals helps us to train them”

Learning experiences outside the classroom are forms of experiential learning. We have inked MOUs with various renowned industries which helps in training of our students and give them an idea about how their knowledge is applied on the field to solve real-world issues.

What makes your institute different from others which people should explore about?

“Our aim is not just to make good engineers but also society influencers”

Our institute comes in the list of very few elite institutes having NAAC A+ grade with 3.32 CGPA. We have a Civil engineering departmental student’s club named “ARTEX forum” which organizes expert guest lectures, alumni seminars, industrial visits, sports activities, etc. for all-round development of students. At the centralized college level we have a “STEM Club” which helps students to showcase their talent & skills. AICTE-sponsored PRERANA scheme lectures are conducted for helping the students to prepare for GATE examination. Our institute provides AKASH Scholarship to students belonging to economically weaker sections. An International Cell / Incubation center is installed in the institute for giving exposure of latest innovations in industrial activities from India as well as abroad, and to help students to initiate Start-ups.

What do you see as the greatest strengths of Institutions?

“Our administration and teaching as well as non-teaching staff”

The greatest strength of our Institute is the visionary Honorable management which comes with a strong academic background. A team filled with enthusiasm of young and talented faculty members plus experienced research oriented senior faculty members is the core of the institute.

Mention some of the biggest challenges you see for your Institute specifically?

“Skill development of every student to make them industry ready”

Grooming the students coming from rural backgrounds in order to cope up with the advanced technologies is one of the greatest challenges for the institute. It is very much necessary for the students to improve their skills instead of only concentrating more on getting higher grades.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?

“Keep learning and try to solve real world issues through your knowledge”

My suggestion to current youth and aspiring students is to pay more focus on identifying the problems in and around the society. Once the problem is identified, try to find some innovative solutions which will help in solving those problems and will benefit the society in the long-tem.
