What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Constant learning and up skilling with the current trends”

Teaching and research are my passions. As an educator, I aspire to don’t just teach students, but also have to keep up my skills upto the date and learn the latest trends in the industry. It helps me become a lifelong learner and acquire great knowledge.

How would you describe your leadership style?

“Direct and leading by examples”

I enjoy delegating tasks and taking the lead on projects, and I also like to stay involved and inspire my team by showing that I’m working hands-on to help them. I lead by facilitating open communication and trying to bring out the best in every team member.

How do you strategize the key plans for the marketing of your institute?

“Engaging strong marketing statics to thrive in market”

Marketing plans are the roadmap to success for your institute, keeping you on track with your initiatives throughout the year and, ideally, the next several years. The traditional marketing plan format can be daunting, but building a “modified” school marketing plan can be super simple and effective. We follow a definite pattern for the same. We identify goals and prioritize our techniques based on that. Also, assessing needs and required resources, brainstorming and refining ideas to build a strategy.

How does the curriculum of your institute ensure the best practice of industry?

“Effective and standardized pedagogy with minimal gaps”

Evaluating the program’s growth potential and ensuring it addresses a growing career track or measurable student demand is essential. We ensure the program is well-aligned with other on-ground and online programs, industries and fits well within the institutional model. We make sure that all program and course outcomes are defined and mapped out to ensure that there is proper progression and minimal gaps. We try to minimize variations in the student learning experience by standardizing course content and assessment for all sections.

What is your special teaching method?

“More integrated and participative teaching-learning activities”

My teaching style can best be described as interactive, supportive and transparent. I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom, ask questions when they come up, and participate actively in all conversations regardless of their level of confidence. Increase team assignments, encourage and reward teamwork, especially where peer groups have helped weak students improve. Giving the assignments, and asking the students to prepare charts and review these collectively with the students, selecting the most useful to display in the classroom are some highly interactive pedagogy.

What are the placement opportunities for the students in your institute?

“Diverse range of companies offering high salaries”

There are so many opportunities available for students. We have 30+ recruiters worldwide like DLF, UKB, GLOBE, TOYOTA, FDC, ALEMBIC and many more. For mechanical students both for bachelor and diploma students our top recruiters are TATA and P&R GROUP. These all provide a good starting package starting from around 4 lakhs.

What are the most important functions in a HOD role?

“Strategic leadership and mentorship for smooth functioning”
