Friedrich Schiller University campus has ten schools under its affiliation. The ten schools are as follows:

Normally students only need a valid university entrance qualification for undergraduate courses (bachelor courses, state examination courses, and diploma courses). In some cases, however, there are additional requirements in a few subjects, such as for existing proficiency tests or the fulfillment of a certain language requirement. - A certified copy of proof for German proficiency.
- CV (in tabular format).
- A copy of the passport.

University of Jena Cost of Attendance
- Students don’t have to pay any tuition fees.
- A semester fee is needed to be paid by the students to meet up the expenses of the student body and administration. This semester fee includes the issuance of the semester ticket also which gives access to the free public transport facilities in Jena and in Thuringia to the students of the University.
