Computational Science plays an important role in the crossroads between applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, and natural science. It has become a key technology for the future. They need strategic interdisciplinary approaches to high-performance computer systems in order to efficiently conduct simulations and analyze large data sets gathered in experiments. This is the objective of the field of computational science. It involves creating mathematical models, numerically processing these models, implementing the models in computer systems, and knowing how to apply comprehensive knowledge in relevant natural science disciplines.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- For this master's program, Students need a subject-specific bachelor degree (minimum 6 semesters/180 ECTS-Credits) or a recognized equivalent.

- Some courses might require German language proficiency. Applicants for German taught programs must pass German Language Test for Admissions to Higher Education (DSH) at DSH-2 level.
