Rotary Foundation Scholarships- Global Grants

Rotary Foundation offers scholarships worth more than 7.5 million USD annually to develop leaders of the next generation and assist their philanthropic objectives. The Rotary Foundation Global Grants are on such a program.

What’s a Global Grant? Global Grants are offered to professionals and graduates studying abroad in one of Rotary’s six areas of focus, including the promotion of peace, providing sanitation, hygiene and clean water, saving children and mothers, fighting disease, growing local economies and supporting education. Clubs and districts reinforce the global collaborations by working together to cater to the needs of the community.

Rotary Foundation Global Grants can fund:

  • Humanitarian projects
  • Scholarships for graduate-level academic studies
  • Vocational training teams, which are groups of professionals who travel abroad either to teach local professionals about their field or to learn more about it themselves

A global grant project has a minimum budget of 30,000 USD and a maximum World Fund Award of 400,000 USD. These are sometimes also funded with directed gifts and endowed earnings.
