The Ilmenau University of Technology does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 120 USD in the first semester of the Master's course, in the following semesters the contribution fee is103 USD.
- The study profile deepens the basic principles of experimental and theoretical materials science with further Physico-chemical basics as well as engineering focus from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and micro and nanotechnology to provide a more in-depth and innovative range of courses. It has an engineering, technological focus and focuses on materials technology.
- The goal of the research-oriented master's program in materials science is to train students with a broad engineering base, methodical competence and understanding of current material science issues.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Completion of a related bachelor's degree transcripts is needed.
- Admission to the master's program at the TU Ilmenau requires a passed aptitude test. This aptitude test takes place as a formal test of your certificates.
