Shyam Lal College admissions 2023 will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores conducted by National Test Agency (NTA) for all UG and PG programs
For all UG programs, Candidates are required to appear for CUET UG, and applicants seeking admission to PG programs, need to appear for CUET PG. Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) has been replaced by CUET PG from the academic year 2023 for PG admissions.
Candidates for UG admissions are required to register on Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) after qualifying for the CUET UG exam while PG selection will be based on the merit list released by the institute or both merit and entrance-based admissions. Once the CUET result is out, the registration process for all UG and PG programs will start on Delhi University’s admission portal - admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates will then be required to fill preference for the program and college.
For PG admission, 50% of the total intake will be allocated to the students who hold their bachelor’s degree from Delhi University on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination and the remaining half to be filled on the basis of the candidate’s rank in the CUET PG examination.
Shyam Lal College (SLC) also has 50% of its total seats reserved for the students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category.

During my admission time, there was a cut-off system and hence I secured my seat according to the best of the 4 subjects that I scored from. The eligibility of my admission was simple as should just have English as one of my main core subjects and the rest of everything depended on my marks. Major Improvements and shifts that happened after my year at CUCET came about, now there are entrances for everything which is both a pro and a con.
The admission process was by the entrance exam named Cuet exam and according to the marks of the exam. I got admission to this college. We had to pay the entrance exam fees that was almost 800 to 1000 rupees.
Students need to be passed in 12th class with any recognized school with a minimum of 60 percent. Everything is online available about the college and university application dates. you will get admission by clearing the cutoff list declared by the college.
In 2021 we used to get admission based on cutoff, We get a cutoff list for every college and have to qualify for that to get admission in college, the cutoff for BSc chemistry in my college was 85 percent during the time of my admission. To get admission we have to fill out the form which is used to test our understanding and ability to handle pressure as it is moderate and lengthy.
I chose this course because of my interest in the electronic sector. My opinion about this course is that there is only one future in any sector So I chose this course. My class have approx 70 of strength. The faculty is also well-qualified. All the professors are a minimum of PHd degree.
