RVR and JC College of Engineering has been providing world class education in technical stream from 32 years. It was set up in the year 1985 at Chowdavaram, Guntur. It is one of the first colleges affiliated to the Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of AICTE. It offers B.Tech, MBA, MCA and M.Tech at UG & PG level respectively. Stream wise seat distribution is given below:

Under Graduate program is offered in eight specializations with total intake of 1260 students.
The duration of UG course is four academic years.
Post graduate program is offered under MBA, MCA and M.Tech streams with total intake of 388 students
The duration of the PG course may vary between one to three years
The admission to the above-mentioned courses is merit based.

The application process for the UG and PG program is offline. Interested candidates can apply for the respective course at the college on payment of INR 450 as application fee.

The minimum eligibility for admission in UG program is 10+2 with a good rank in EAMCET. For admission in PG program, the candidate needs to hold a UG degree from a recognized university

Candidates are selected on the basis of merit in qualifying or entrance examinations. The eligibility criteria other than marks are determined by the Acharya Nagarjuna University from time to time.

RVR and JC College of Engineering B.Tech Admission 2023

B.Tech course is offered in 8 specializations. It is a regular course of the duration of four years. The minimum eligibility to this course is having passed in intermediate examination conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any equivalent board recognized by the Acharya Nagarjuna University and a valid rank in EAMCET.

Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is an online examination conducted by JNTUK (Jawahar Lal Nehru Technological University Kakinada).

The basic eligibility is to pass the 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects in qualifying examination or final year diploma examination conducted by SBTET.

The admission to the above-mentioned courses will be approved on the basis of the merit list prepared by the college. The selection is based on the rank secured by the candidate at EAMCET examination. Moreover, candidate should also satisfy the eligibility requirements set by the University/Government of A.P from time to time.

RVR and JC College of Engineering M.Tech Admission 2023

The college offers six specializations in M.Tech course. The admission process for the course is offline. Application fee is INR 800 (INR 400 for SC/ST).

Candidate must have passed BE/B.Tech degree in Science or Engineering field with a minimum aggregate of 55%.
Candidate should have a valid rank in GATE or PGCET examination

For basic eligibility criterion to be fulfilled for M.Tech program, candidate should appear for Post graduate common entrance test (PGCET) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

I took the EAMCET exam and got a 2544 rank. After the counseling started, I opted for RVR & JC as my first choice since it has more benefits than any other college in Andhra Pradesh. I selected the AI & ML course as my choice as it has more demand in upcoming years. The course fee is 69400 but due to my good rank I need not pay any fees, the government will take care of it. The course has some eligibility for different categories based on reservation criteria. Not only through EAMCET we can also join RVR by paying money as management seat.

There are two ways students can join this college. One of the ways is through ap eapcet and the other method is through Ecet which diploma students appear for. Diploma students need to secure a rank of 5000 or below to join this course. And Eapcet students need to have a rank of 8000 or below to join this course. All information regarding the application form and application fee will be provided by the college. Sc and st students have many reservation benefits and scholarships will be provided to students who are academically good and have poor economic conditions.

I took AP eamcet exam. The cut off rank is below 10k for the computer science and data science branch in this college. The application form is given after the seat is allotted for student. There is no application fee paid by student. If the student has any reservation then the cut off rank is expected to be high.

I wrote ecet entrance exam. I got a 298 rank.I applied for cse branch. In my college the cut of is 900 so I got cse branch. My college tuition fee is 69400. I joined on my November 2nd in 2022. The management was super to receive the students.
