I want to become an engineer so decided to pursue Btech. College is good with decent qualified teachers. The girl-to-boy ratio is less in engineering colleges. Mostly teachers are masters in their subjects. Exams are held semester-wise in a duration span of 6 months ( end term).
The reason for me to choose this course was to get a decent private job in a good mnc, and particularly this college because it had a good average package, and in my rank, I don't think I could've got better than this. The student ratio is very good if we see the overall college because it includes other courses such as BBA, LAW, etc. that are a part of the MAIMS Building. In MAIT particularly, the gender ratio is not very good, for example, there are 5-6 girls in a batch of 60. Faculty are okay considering the fees and reputation of the college, we have to make efforts of our own for coding and placements. timely exams are easy considering I have my friends in NITs, compared to them our exams are on the easier side, we can get a good cgpa in a week of studies or two.
I chose this branch as it is the evergreen branch and the future scope is good in this branch, the student ratio is good enough m:f 3/1, the faculties are decent but in the end, you have to study on your own no one is gonna spoon feed you for the exam.
I took this course as it was originally before cse introduced the student ratio is pretty well most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders and they are very friendly also currently, I don't know anything about exams as I am a fresher.
The course cirriculum in MAIT is a bit-outdated. The teachers, in general, are educated and well-qualified, however, one might find some of the teachers difficult to reach. Also, some of the lab incharges are rude and inherit a not-ready-to-help behavior. However, the faculty to student ratio is good, atleast better than most of the other IPU colleges.
MAIT will be the best option among these for a BTech in Computer Science/IT. It offers good learning resources to students. The institute has good infrastructure and library facilities. It has a good placement record as well. According to the recent placement highlights, MAIT Delhi average package is around INR 4.5 LPA. The highest package goes up to INR 40 LPA. TCS, Amazon, Infosys, etc. are among the major recruiters to visit the campus placement.
