Founded in 1994, K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology has the 9th largest intake of students among Engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and is accredited by NAAC with B++ Grade.
KSRCT offers B.E and B.Tech courses at UG level. While at PG level, the college offers M.E, M.Tech and MBA courses. Those who are willing to get admission into UG courses must have passed 10+2 with a good rank. Based on this rank, students are called for the TNEA Counselling where seats are allotted to them.
For admission into PG Courses, applicants are evaluated on the basis of their score in the TANCET exam. Post result declaration, the qualified students are invited to take part in the TANCET Counselling. In case of M.E/M.Tech courses, KSR College of Technology also provides direct admission to GATE qualified students.

To apply for UG courses, candidates must have passed HSC in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% marks (45% for BC and 45% for MBC & DNC and SC/ST).
K.S Rangasamy College of Technology UG Selection Criteria
- Anna University conducts TNEA Counselling for admission to B.E/B.Tech courses.
- Candidates who have passed class 12th with a valid score are eligible for this counselling round.
- A merit list is published based on the rank obtained and candidates whose names are mentioned on this list need to register on the TNEA portal.
- After registration, they need to visit the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs) along with their documents for verification.
- Those whose documents get verified need to login to the TNEA portal and pick KSRCT as the preferred college. Also they have to select the desired course.
- Post choice filling, the concerned authority will allot seats to candidates based on the rank and choices filled.
- If satisfied with the allotment then students need to confirm the seat and finally, they need to report at the allotted college to complete further admission formalities.
How to Apply for UG Courses?
In order to take admission in UG courses, candidates need to register for TNEA Counselling. The steps to register are mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of TNEA.
- Click on the Registration link and provide details such as username and password to register.
- Now login using the credentials to fill the online application form.
- Enter all the required details along with the preferred TFC for document verification.
- Proceed to make payment of INR 500/- (INR 250/- for SC/SCA/ST categories) and then submit the form.
- Post payment, you will receive a PDF document through the TNEA Application Processing System.
- Take a printout of the same and attach a recent passport size photograph.
- Submit this printout at TFC during the verification time.
NOTE - An E-Call letter will be available on the official website of TNEA which will contain date, time and address of TFC. Candidates need to download it as well. An email and SMS will also be sent to registered candidates.

- A key will be sent to your registered phone number.
- Now login by entering the registered email id, password and TANCET key.
- As soon as registration is done, proceed to fill the application form.
- Next, upload scanned images of required documents.
- Once the form is complete, make application fee payment of INR 600/- (INR 300 for SC/SCA/ST candidates) through Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
- After payment, submit the form and take a printout of the same for future use.
