GPCET Kurnool Admission 2024: Entrance Exam, Notification, Courses

GPCET Kurnool offersB.Tech in 5 disciplines viz. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science& Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to B.Techis passing 10+2 in science stream with a minimum of 50% marks is physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together.

• Candidates are sdhortlistedon the basis of marks obtained in the state level engineering exam (AP EAMCET).
• The final list of selected candidates is announced upon completion of the AP EAMCET counselling process.
• Allotment of seats and study center is subject to rank/score secured by the candidate in the entrance exam.

Candidates applying for B.Tech program offered by the institute can log on to the AP EAMCET website. The payment can be made only through online mode, i.e. via credit/ debit card. It is mandatory for all applicants to appear for the entrance exam and counselling.

• First preference is given to candidates based in AP & Telangana state.
• 70% of the total seats are reserved for candidates applying through AP EAMCET.
• 30% seats are filled based on 10+2 merit in compliance with APSCHE guidelines
• Maximum duration to complete B.Tech program is 8 consecutive years.

GPCET offers MBA program and M.Techin 3 disciplines at the post-graduate level. For admission to M.Tech programs, it is mandatory for the applicant to have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE/ B.Tech) in the relevant or allied discipline along with a valid GATE score based on which selection is done. Applicants without a valid GATE score are required to appear for APPGECET.

For the MBA program, a graduate degree with minimum 50% marks is the required eligibility criteria. Selection of candidates for the MBA program is done on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying exam.

• Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be required to appear for the counselling process in order to secure a seat in the institution.
• Seats are allotted based on the applicant’s performance in the entrance test and marks secured in the concerned qualifying exam.
• GATE qualifiers, MBA and MCA candidates do not require to take the entrance test.

Application forms can be obtained from the college’s admission cell upon payment of the requisite application fee. Only offline mode of submission for completed application form and fee payment is recognized by the institute.

• For management quota admissions, selections are subject to merit.
• Application fee for AP PGECET for M. Tech courses is INR 857.50
• For candidates belonging to reserved categories, there is a relaxation of 5% in the minimum required percentile in the last qualifying exam
• Seats for APPGECET candidates are opened only after filling of seats for GATE candidates.
