Applicants seeking admission in the college have to download the application form available on the official website. However, they must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria while applying for the courses available. Apart from this, the students must also appear for a state-level entrance exam i.e. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) and TANCET or for JEE Main entrance test. KPR Institute will select the applicants entirely on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination and the rank attained in the entrance examination. Admissions and selection procedure is totally managed by Anna University.

Reservation: Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu state will be considered for communal reservation for all programs. Also, 66% of seats are reserved for OBC, SC, ST, Muslims, MBC, DNC and SCA.

The staff recommended I make a visit to the college and after that, they insisted that we can move on to the admission process.They will give a one page admission form which will contain our school academic details.After filling that,we have to pay the admission fees. For each course, the minimum cut-off will be needed as per the institution's guidelines. so, the admission process will be simple.

I applied to this college via counseling only. I had a cut-off of 133.5 and got into this college in the second round of counseling. But I had attended one of their scholarship test after which I got a 30K fee waiver from my academic fee.
