About PCE
Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai College of Engineering (PCE), is the only engineering college in Navi Mumbai to be accredited with A+ grade by NAAC. The college was established in 1999 as a private unaided college. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, approved by AICTE, and Recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra. The college is recognized by UGC under sections 12(b) and 2(f). PCE is the first college in Navi Mumbai to be granted prestigious autonomous status by UGC. The Institute received the prestigious "Lokmat Navi Mumbai and Panvel Gaurav Award 2023" and also the Times ASCENT The Skill Development Leadership Award.
The Institute gives emphasis in terms of employability, entrepreneurial start-ups and research for the overall development of the students. PCE is the most sought college in Mumbai University with very high cutoffs. The college has an enrollment of about 2700+ students in its 6 UG (Automobile Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering), 4 PG (Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering) and 4 PhD Research Centers.
