The institute has over 300 dedicated faculty members, highly trained in their respective fields. The student to professor ratio is 20:1.Of the 300 members, 132 hold Doctorates, while 102 are pursuing their Doctoral Works. The 236 Technical Staff are experienced in guiding students in the practical aspects of the courses.

Can I take lateral entry admission at CBIT Hyderabad?

Yes, there are seats in the undergraduate programs that are reserved for lateral entry, i.e. admission directly into the 2nd year of B.E or B.Tech program. Scholarships of 5,000 rupees per month are provided by the institute to students having rank between 1 to 400 in the PGECET exam. There are also scholarships for GATE qualified students by AICTE/MHRD.
