CBIT Hyderabad Admission
- Tech/BE admission is done on the basis of marks obtained on TS-EAMCET. Admission to the ME/M.Tech is done on the basis of marks obtained in PGECET or GATE.
Admission in MCA & MBA is done on the basis of marks obtained in TS-ICET.

The institute has a wide range of facilities for the benefit of the students
- Library: The first library to receive the AICTE Project on Modernization and Networking of Library & Information Centre under the MODROBS, it houses more than 1,00,000 books & 5000 E-Journals.
- Canteen: There are 2 canteens inside the college campus which serve healthy and hygienically prepared food to students
- Sports: The college has made provisions for all types of sports. The campus contains 2 basketball courts, a football field, a cricket ground and a large sports complex with a gym, badminton courts, and table tennis room
- Computer Labs: There are 19 fully equipped computer labs on campus and Wi-Fi is available all over the campus from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Ans. Yes, it is a very good college with a great placement record. There are experienced faculty members and also a pleasant environment with excellent facilities.
Ques. Does CBIT Hyderabad have a hostel?
Ans. Accommodation is available for students in Junior and Senior blocks. The hostels include a reading room, canteen, computer, entertainment facilities as well as a visitor’s lounge.
Ques. How are the faculties at CBIT Hyderabad?
Ans. The institute has over 300 dedicated faculty members, highly trained in their respective fields. The student to professor ratio is 20:1.
Of the 300 members, 132 hold Doctorates, while 102 are pursuing their Doctoral Works. The 236 Technical Staff are experienced in guiding students in the practical aspects of the courses.
Ques. Can I take lateral entry admission at CBIT Hyderabad?
Ans. Yes, there are seats in the undergraduate programs that are reserved for lateral entry, i.e. admission directly into the 2nd year of B.E or B.Tech program. This admission is done on the basis of the ECET, which is an entrance exam for diploma and for B.Sc. (Mathematics) candidates. Details of the same can be found here.
Ques. Does CBIT Hyderabad provide any financial assistance?
Ans. Scholarships of 5,000 rupees per month are provided by the institute to students having rank between 1 to 400 in the PGECET exam. There are also scholarships for GATE qualified students by AICTE/MHRD.
