Kongu Engineering College (KEC) was founded by Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust (KVITT) in the year 1984. The college is affiliated to Anna University Chennai. - Kongu college is a very Beautiful campus The atmosphere was very good.
- Our college is the safest and best place where we feel safe where.
- And they give good teaching and also give nice coaching for sports also.
- I liked the facilities, opportunities and placements they have made for us
- I liked culturals conducted by our college, named "enthusia", which is happening for Two days along with womens day, so we care enjoying for three days continuously without rest.
- Faculty were very friendly and supportive in placements which I like the most.
- I liked The College Campus Because Campus was so clean and Many trees are there
Dislike
- The course syllabus is poor, academics are wage dumping. The faculties have average knowledge and the staff are not up to the level. Non-teaching staff teach us during laboratory hours; its a bitter truth. Very few staff are dedicated.
- In our department, the placement is very poor. Core departments have a poor placement ratio compared to other circuit branches. We face a lot of difficulty in getting placed too. We must have a better and more efficient placement team.
- I dont know about loans, but there is a scholarship available for poor people, and it is provided by the government. Therefore, there is no problem for poor people to obtain this scholarship. However, getting other loans is very difficult because the process is very time-consuming.
- The fees are very high and not worth it because the food is very bad and not hygienic. There is no cleanliness inside the mess and the cook is not good at cooking. This hostel is the worst in this college.
- Negative is the college in and out timings of the hostel. This may be a problem for some students who had no restrictions at home.

For management quota, there will be only submitting original certificates and paying half cash and putting an admission. For counseling students, there will be redemption and fees and admit it. For sports quota students all are free except for exam fees.

The admission process is good, But the Admission process takes 3 hours because of so much crowd.

I got cut off at about 185.14. I opted for counselling and I got a second round of counselling. I got a seat at KONGU Engineering College and the admission process was offline and paid the fees for the first year of around 100,000. The admission process was totally good and nothing bad in that.

No two types of processes are there to select students for their college. One would be counseling mode and another would be management quota which is payment seats!! Both require a particular point of 12th percentage marks which is said to be their own individual cut-off marks based on the Cretirra they would select the students.
