Bengal Institute of Technology offers admission for 4-years full-time Undergraduate program in engineering (B.Tech.) under 4 specializations. 10+2 qualified candidates will be eligible for admission to the course.

Bengal Institute of Technology Kolkata B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

• Admission for these courses is conducted based on the rank obtained in WBJEE and JEE Main.
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exams recognized by the Central Government or the State Government with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one from Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Application.
• The minimum qualifying marks for General category students is 45%, while reserved category students have 5% relaxation or 40%.

Bengal Institute of Technology Kolkata B.Tech. Selection Criteria:

• Selection will be done on merit basis out of the rank in WBJEE/JEXPO/JEE Main.
• Generally, 3 offline counseling sessions are held.
• Based on the cut-off declared by BIT, Kolkata, students have to choose the college and their stream.
• Two sets of supporting documents are submitted. The supporting documents needed to be submitted are as follow-
• Scorecard of the valid entrance exam qualified
• Original & photocopies of Marksheets and certificate of 10th and 12th
• Passport size photographs.
• Category Certificate
• Hard copy of application form
• Anti-Ragging affidavit signed by the candidate and the parents separately
• Fitness certificate.
• All the documents and application forms (with originals) are submitted at the college for verification.
• After ensuring the validity of the documents submitted, selection assurance is provided following which the candidate has to pay admission fee.

BIT, Kolkata offers 3-years full-time Master in Computer Application (MCA). Admission for this course is conducted based on the rank obtained in WB JECA- Joint Entrance Examination for admissions to Master of Computer Applications.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration from any UGC/AICTE recognized institution except BBA with Mathematics at graduate or 10+2 level.

The minimum qualifying marks for general category students is 50% and 45% for reserved category candidates.

Bengal Institute of Technology Kolkata MCA Selection Criteria:

• Candidates have to qualify WB JECA entrance exam.
• Then in the counseling session, they have to choose this college based on the cut-off.
• After that, they need to visit the main campus and fill the application form.
• Candidates are provided with necessary documents and information, such as a brochure, admission date, fee structure, etc.
• All the documents and application forms (with originals) are submitted at the college for verification. The supporting documents needed to be submitted are as follow-
