Overview

When i was in my 3rd year of Btech, one of my professors had done his Phd from University of Saskatchewan. So he has mentioned this professor. At that time, i did not pay much heed to that, because i was preparing for US. So when i started facing some financial problems, another professor of mine who i did my internship with, he also suggested me to try here. And i thought, why not. So, this is how I came across to this university.

Fees

The tuition fees actually vary every year. They are revised annually. When i joined, I was getting a fellowship of C$ 17,400 which was non-taxable. Out of that, I think my room rent and my groceries they accounted for roughly C$9000 . So, the remaining C$8000 something, that was the tuition fee for the entire year. So we used to pay it by semester. The round figure was close to C$8000, now it might have increased.

Overview

I live in Saskatoon so I decided this was the most convenient and affordable option for me. The nutrition program also had the practicum included in it, which other provinces don't have- you have to compete for it. The fact that I would not have to compete for this made the program much more appealing to me to apply for.

Fees

Don't know of anything for International students as I have no experience which such a thing. Fees are a joke as it is a university and they expect broke students to overpay for everything. Some scholarships are available for students but there are few of them and they require essays and tons of work to apply. Its also very competitive.

Overview

The way residence works to get into the medical school so it'd be easier for me to get a spot if I did my undergrad in the province and this is the better out of the two major schools in the province. In addition, it just seems like it has a vast selection of postgraduate options.

Fees

I pay for residence and opt to do it at a flat fee at the beginning of the academic year. The tuition is paid once per semester.

I opted for this college due to location and reputation. I am from a small town 3 hours away from it, therefore I only have a short drive in order to make it back home. This college also has almost the best reputation for its agriculture program in Canada, making me choose it.

Fees

You are charged for tuition, books, athletic fees, paying for the newspaper, while also paying for your residence.

Overview

It was close to home. My family was in Saskatoon, I had friends from high school who also went to this university. The tuition is cheaper. I am familiar with the city, didn't have to move away, and I could live at home while going to school.

Fees

The fees for each class is about $500-600, depending on the program. So if you take a full course load which is 5 courses per semester, it will be around $3000 in tuition. There are also infrastructure fees, student union fees, athletic fees (for the gym and facilities), and bus fees (for getting unlimited bus rides throughout the semester), which adds up to about $500.

Family lives there we have a house that my dad bought and that was mostly the main reason. I didn?t know what major I really wanted to do and engineering seemed the best out of the rest but after only one term it was the worst.

Fees

They break down into a lot of stuff like newspaper, department fee, bus fee, Heath care, dentist, and the courses fee. It's ridiculous how much they cost and not to mention the additional charges for materials for classes and labs like textbook, lab manual, equipment, etc

Overview

Program is great, practicum is hands on, great class size. There are many work opportunities that come from this program. The college is very welcoming to all students regardless of the program that they are in (pharmacy or nutrition)

Fees

Tuition is not a flat rate, it depends on the electives you are taking. Some students do not need to take electives so they're paying less.
