Program is great, practicum is hands on, great class size. There are many work opportunities that come from this program. The college is very welcoming to all students regardless of the program that they are in (pharmacy or nutrition)
Course Curriculum
Hard, but stimulating. Pre requisites are difficult but necessary in order to fully understand concepts. The implementation of a practicum is a great opportunity for students to apply their learning before starting a job.
Placement
Unsure. I am only in my first year so I have yet to experience the placement, but with feedback from older Students it sounds like the bird is very accommodating to a students needs and where they would have accomodations.
Internship
Yes, I have not experienced it yet. Older students have described it as an amazing leading opportunity and it gives them great hands on learning. It also helps students learn what areas they are particularly interested in.
Fees
Tuition is not a flat rate, it depends on the electives you are taking. Some students do not need to take electives so they're paying less.
Examination Structure
Most are written answer with some multiple choice, fill in the blanks, and true/false. For electives you're, exams are most often multiple choice with opscan. The short answer question with required courses give students a good opportunity to show what they know.
Faculty
Very supportive, there are many events for the students to meet the faculty so it is also very involved. They are able to reach out in a timely manner and genuinely care about the students.
