Concordia University

8.0 /10

The Christian background was appealing and the community on campus drew me in. I wanted to go to a small university that focused on student leadership and encouraged studies abroad, which I was able to do.

Course Curriculum :

I think it's extensive and includes many courses that are not only necessary for the degree but also for life. The advising team is often confused on which courses to help students register for so confusion and extra courses are often added.

Fees :

It costs about $43,000 to attend Concordia. Books can range from a few dollars to $150. Housing and the meal plan is far too expensive and students often have to cover extra fees for labs and other major-related courses.

Examination Structure :

Students are often given study guides and prep for exams. The exam week schedules are often messy and confusing and conflicting, and some professors refuse to follow it. That being said, exams are not at strenuous or stressful as one might expect.

Faculty :

The faculty genuinely wants to get to know the students and wants to see them thrive. They often open up scheduling past office hours to help students out. They attend campus events and hold seminars for extra learning activities. The faculty seeks to establish a connection with the students.
