The MS in Finance program can be completed through an accelerated 10-month study track or expanded into a 17-month track with an internship option. Students choosing the option to extend their program will be eligible to seek an internship, but are not guaranteed placement in an internship.

In addition, this STEM-designated program qualifies eligible graduates on student visas for an optional practical training (OPT) extension, allowing them to remain in the country for an additional 24 months. The STEM designation is also an indication of the quality and rigor of the program, which are factors of significant importance to students and recruiters alike.

Renowned for its strength in analytics, Simon’s MS in Finance program provides an intensive, hands-on training experience that will prepare you to handle a host of challenges from everyday financial applications to portfolio management, asset valuation, and more. The well-rounded curriculum creates opportunities for in-depth studies in finance through a balanced focus of theory, workshops, projects, and case studies. We help you stand out in a demanding field by teaching skills in these critical areas:

  • Analysis of corporate financial policy decisions
  • Corporate, project, and investment valuations
  • Capital budgets and capital markets valuation
  • Pricing theories and trading strategies in dynamic markets
  • Performance and risk/return model evaluation
