New York Institute of Technology Scholarships

International students applying to New York Institute of Technology are not eligible for any federal or state-sponsored aid. Nonetheless, the university considers international students for academic scholarships awarding partial tuition.

Candidates are not required to submit any separate applications for academic scholarships. The university selects scholarship recipients based on information provided in the admission application and supporting documents. Selected candidates will be notified about the aid when they receive their acceptance package from NYIT.

New York Institute of Technology does not take into consideration SAT/ACT scores while awarding scholarships. However, graduate applicants need to submit a minimum TOEFL score of 79+ to be considered for scholarships at NYIT. Equivalent IELTS, PTE, and Duolingo scores are also accepted. New York Institute of Technology offers financial assistance to graduate students through academic scholarships, graduate assistantships and work-study.

Work-Study at NYIT

Graduate students on US F-1 visa are eligible to work on campus at New York Institute of Technology. Students can work up to 20 hours per hour during semesters. However, they may work only on campus up to 35 hours per week during the holidays.
