Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- A GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 and a science GPA are required to be eligible for the program.
- Grades for prerequisite coursework must be “C” or better.
- A minimum of 500 hours of volunteer or paid direct, hands-on patient contact hours must be documented as part of the CASPA application.
- Applicants also need 100 hours of shadowing a PA, physician, or NP.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first-class in a relevant field from a highly ranked university in India.
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
