- The Yale School of Management is grateful to partner with the Jacobs Foundation to offer Jacobs Fellowships as part of the school’s Loan Forgiveness Program (LFP).
- The Fellowship provides an award of $25,000 over two years, in addition to SOM’s Loan Forgiveness payment toward the Fellows’ loans, and engagement with the Jacobs Network Launched in 2018, the Fellowship is available to alumni eligible for SOM’s Loan Forgiveness Program who work/have interest in the following fields:
- Education (including childhood development, learning, ed-tech, early-ed)
- Agricultural development in Africa (including food security, microfinance, supply-chain)
- Impact investment.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Admission to the Master of Advanced Management program is available to students who either are enrolled in Global Network for Advanced Management member schools and expect to receive their MBA degree or equivalent before matriculating at Yale.
- Must have recently graduated from a Global Network for Advanced Management member school with an MBA or equivalent degree.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
- The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and GMAT results are accepted. There is no minimum score to apply.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Must have recently graduated from a Global Network for Advanced Management member school with an MBA or equivalent degree
- The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and GMAT results are accepted. There is no minimum score to apply.

Before beginning the visa application process, students must have the following documents:
I-20 Form:
- This I-20 is required when applying for an F-1 student visa at an American embassy or consulate and for entry into the United States.
- This I-20 has been produced by Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and is an acknowledgment that the record is in the SEVIS system.
SEVIS Fee Receipt:
- All new students coming in F-1 status must pay a one-time SEVIS fee prior to applying for a visa and must submit the SEVIS fee receipt as part of their application.
- If students are renewing their F-1 visa it is recommended that have proof of SEVIS fee payment, even though it does not have to be paid again.
Additional I-20 Forms:
- If students have family members traveling with their in F-2 status, Yale will mail an I-20 for their use and each F-2 dependent should have their own I-20 form.
- Each F-2 dependent I-20 is issued their own SEVIS number but an additional SEVIS fee does not need to be paid for a dependent.
