Master of Education [M.Ed] [Education-Counselor Education] From Texas Tech University

The 60-hour MEd program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling includes the required coursework and is designed to prepare students for licensure by the Texas Board of Professional Counselors (Licensed Professional Counselor—LPC)) and certification by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).

Programs in the College of Education identify a Trademark Outcome that defines the higher order outcomes that will enhance the success of graduates when entering their counseling careers. The Trademark Outcome for Clinical Mental Health Counseling is "Create and implement treatment plans and programs to serve the needs of clients, communities, and agencies where our students are and will be employed."
