Both undergraduate and graduate students are required to submit the ASID Foundation Legacy Scholarships application form. However, the scholarship application requirements vary for UG and PG applicants.
The ASID foundation selects the candidate on the basis of merit that includes the academic record, portfolio, essay written by the applicant, and the letters of recommendation.
The design portfolio and the essay are able to tell a lot about the applicant’s past and future vision and the selection committee is basically interested in the person who is committed and has a passion for interior designing. A person who is not only thinking of rising himself through the subject area but is also having the capability to give something to it, is most likely the most suitable candidate for the scholarship.
The decision of scholarship is conveyed by the foundation within 4-6 weeks.
