The University of Cincinnati offers a small, high quality MA program. We admit between 10 and 15 MA students each year. Students benifit from the expertise of a renowned and research-active faculty.
The program combines the resources of a major urban research university with small classes and individual mentoring. Major and minor fields on the MA include US history, European history, comparative urban history, comparative women and gender, modern China or India, Middle East history, environmental history and public history.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants should hold a baccalaureate degree (or higher) from a college or university.
- Students should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or more and have at least a B average in undergraduate course work
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
- Submission of GRE or GMAT scores is required.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
