University of Mount Union Scholarships and Financial Aids 

The term financial aid is used to include scholarships, awards, grants, loans, and on-campus employment; the majority of students receiving aid are granted a combination of these types of assistance.

  • Presidential Scholarship: 8 full-tuition scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen each year. A minimum grade point average of 3.5, a scheduled written essay and an interview are required parts for the competition. Awards are for full tuition.
  • Trustee scholarships: Awards are in the amount of USD 17,500. This award is renewable for 8 semesters as long as the recipient maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • The academy, founder's, and Dean's Scholarships: eligibility is based upon outstanding High school academic achievement on the ACT or SAT I exams. These scholarships range from USD 12500 to USD 15500.
  • Heritage and HartShorn awards: 20 merit awards are based on student's academic achievements and the results of the asset or asset examinations awards are in the amounts of USD 9500 & USD 11,000.
  • University of Mount Union grant: Eligibility for such assistance is determined through the analysis of these awards that are renewable to undergraduate students in the traditional program minimum of 12 hours per semester.
