Music education majors must also be able to communicate in the classroom, serve as leaders and organizers, and encourage and motivate promising talent.
Career Possibilities:
Graduates are employed in both the public- and private-school sectors. Students apply for and receive a special provisional license from the state of Ohio permitting them to teach music pre-K - 12. Through reciprocity agreements, this license is valid in many other states. Placement rate within the profession for CCM music education graduates is 100 percent.
