As a Communication and Technology major, students will learn to live and work in the modern digital environment. Students will be given a foundation of theoretical knowledge, critical analysis, and ethical awareness of how processes of communication affect and are affected by technology.
Communication and Technology majors will take courses that provide students with interdisciplinary knowledge, experiences, and practical skills that link technology and communication.
Students will have access to DePaul’s green screen studio, control room, editing suites, data analytics technology, and digital equipment facility.
They also offer the 3+3 BA/JD Program, which allows high-achieving first-year undergraduate students to be admitted simultaneously to the College of Communication (CMN) and the College of Law (LAW).

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
Students are required to maintain at least a 2.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
