Master of Arts [M.A] [Education] From University of North Carolina

The M.A. in educational innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship?is designed?to provide students with the core set of skills necessary to created educational innovations that are grounded in the learning sciences. The MEITE program develops leaders in educational innovation who:

• create learning environments of the future
• design, scale, and/or commercialize breakthrough educational technologies, pedagogy and curriculum based on the science of learning
• inspire transformational change in technology-intensive learning organizations.

These innovations may take place within traditional schools but are just as likely to occur outside?schools, whether as Internet-based applications or mobile apps, or in nontraditional learning environments such as science centers, after-school programs, or community-based organizations.
