Student Visa for International Students

An international student, who has been accepted into a full-time program at Jefferson, needs F1 status to study. I-20 form is required to apply for F1 status. The requirements of I-20 are:

  • International Student Agreement Form: It is available on the website and can be emailed
  • Graduate Enrolment Form: It can be emailed.
  • Bank statements total $39,151 (U.S. Dollars)
    If bank statements are not in the student’s name, a signed Statement of Support Form in the amount of $39,151 will be required. The Statement of Support Form is available on the website.

It was the only university that was pretty local to me and I could commute. I wasn’t comfortable boarding elsewhere.

No I did not. I wasn’t the highest performing student in high school but in college, I did get a grant for $600.

Because it was in a big city, the tuition was affordable and the program was promising. I knew that I would be able to excel in this program because of how it was shaped. I wanted something that would feed my soul.

I do not have any scholarships but I do receive aid to be able to attend school. I did receive loans in the previous semesters but now I pay my own balance. I do receive a grant from the school and the federal government to fund my education.
